Christian Olsson is a Swedish musician, songwriter, producer, and film composer, known as the lead figure in the Grammy-awarded band Fibes, Oh Fibes!. With four albums, the band navigated a slick, pop-savvy sound inspired by Californian piano rock, seventies soul, and Swedish ’80s hits. As a solo artist under the name OLSSON, his expression is more multifaceted and unpredictable. He debuted in 2016 with the single “Hold On” (featuring Mapei), which gained international attention after being featured in the TV series Suits. This was followed by his critically acclaimed debut album, Millions (2017), which earned a Swedish Grammis Award for “Music Video of the Year” for the single “U”. In 2019, he released the more tropical-hued album Tropical Cologne.

OLSSON’s third solo album, Sunny Hill (2024), is an autobiographical journey named after a neighborhood in Pristina, Kosovo, where he lived in the early 2000s. The album features collaborations with artists such as Mapei, Taken by Trees, and FranksDaughter. He followed up with the EP Wedding Present in March 2025. OLSSON’s collaborations include a range of notable artists, such as Charli XCX, Mabel, Seeb, and Jacob Banks.

Beyond his solo and band projects, OLSSON has an extensive career as a composer for film and TV. He created the soundtrack for Filip & Fredrik’s documentary film Den sista resan (The Last Journey), which won two Guldbaggen Awards, including “Best Documentary Film”, and became Sweden’s most-watched documentary. He also composed the music for the documentary series Peter Mangs – En seriemördares hemlighet (A Serial Killer’s Secret) in 2024.
