Tussilago is a Stockholm-based band known for their dreamy, emotionally rich blend of psychedelic rock and cinematic soundscapes. Since their debut in 2013, they’ve cultivated a unique voice within the Scandinavian indie scene – unhurried, improvisational, and always rooted in feeling.
Today, Tussilago consists of Jesper Hättander, Pierre Riddez (Frankfurt, Daytona), Rickard Renström and Samuel Lundin. Formed around a shared love of organic grooves and melodic depth, the band found their early creative spark in a small studio on Saltmätargatan, where they also began a long-standing collaboration with producer Petter Winnberg (Amason). Over the years, Tussilago has released acclaimed albums like Holy Train and Sense of Me, played major festivals including Way Out West and by:Larm, and toured with artists like Lykke Li and Amason.
With influences ranging from Dungen, The Doors, Deerhunter, to Fela Kuti, their sound flows freely between eras and genres – always with a pulse that’s unmistakably their own. For more than a decade, they’ve refined their craft without ever losing the raw, spontaneous core that defines who they are.
